2007 Garlic
The following photos are from this year's harvest

Inchelium Red Garlic
Softneck Artichoke
Seed of Change
Discovered on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington, this vigorous strain has a mild, lingering flavor that sharpens in storage.

Kettle River Giant Garlic
Softneck Artichoke
Seeds of Change
Extra-large, somewhat flat bulbs with cloves arranged in two layers. Rich flavor with a medium-hot after-taste.

Persian Star Garlic
Allium sativum
Hardneck Purple Stripe
Seeds of Change
Originating from a bazaar in Samarkand, this garlic has large, lavender striped bulbs with striking purple, elongated cloves. A good hardneck for warmer climates. Moderately spicy, it retains its flavor when cooked.

New York White (OG)
(Allium sativum)
Softneck garlic for braiding
Johnny’s Seeds
Organically Grown

This is a traditional favorite with New York's Italian market gardeners, who often call it "Polish White." The skin has a purple blush.

German Extra-Hardy (OG)
(Allium sativum)
Johnny’s Seeds
Organically Grown

The outside skin is very white and the skin covering the cloves is dark red. The New York farmer who grows this stock for Johnny's says, "Out of over 200 sources of garlic that I have had in my trials over the past 15 years, I believe that this is the finest garlic that I have had on the farm." Flavor is very good and stores well.
